DON’T BE A KNUCKLEHEAD WHEN YOU NETWORK

But I believe the subject is relevant for everyone – how to build a network.
Sometimes I believe it’s good to stir the pot. Some people are seriously knuckleheads and they really don’t understand what professional networking is. I was going to say “true networking,” but let’s face it all networking is networking. There aren’t degrees by which different events can be measured. So, after Googling the definition of network, here is what I came up with:
“a group or system of interconnected people or things.”
So, networking would be the action of connecting people to build said network. In order for a network to function, it must act in unison. If one or more begin to act independently of the network in which they are a part, they break the connection and are no longer a part of the network.
Simply said for the knuckleheads out there (stirring the pot again) networking is a two way street.
This week’s video explains how to connect with others and the chart below shows some of the drastic differences between Knucklehead Networkers and Professional Networkers. So take a few moments to watch it. Take a moment afterward to let me know your opinion![/fusion_text][separator style_type=”shadow” top_margin=”” bottom_margin=”” sep_color=”” border_size=”” icon=”” icon_circle=”” icon_circle_color=”” width=”” alignment=”center” class=”” id=””][one_half last=”no” spacing=”yes” center_content=”no” hide_on_mobile=”no” background_color=”” background_image=”” background_repeat=”no-repeat” background_position=”left top” border_position=”all” border_size=”0px” border_color=”” border_style=”” padding=”” margin_top=”” margin_bottom=”” animation_type=”” animation_direction=”” animation_speed=”0.1″ class=”” id=””][fusion_text]
